Most of The Perfect Bite Co's products are meant to stay frozen until they are put in the oven or otherwise prepared. That means we ship only overnight with dry ice and/or ice packs. DHL is the preferred shipping company but if you desire another means of overnight shipping please supply us with your account number so that you can be billed directly from that company. All of our products are packed in a styrofoam shipper, with dry ice and/or ice packs, then placed in a cardboard shipper box. Once received, the box should be opened and the products should then immediately be placed in the freezer or refrigerated until ready to be prepared. It is not uncommon for the dry ice to have melted prior to your receiving the package. The product may have begun to thaw and be in a less than frozen state. Please call us immediately if the product is not cool to the touch.
The Perfect Bite Co. ships Monday through Wednesday for orders received by noon PST. Due to the perishable nature of our products, DHL does not require a signature for our packages and will leave them if they deem the delivery address to be secure. If your order is being shipped to an apartment, please notify the recipient of its arrival and make alternative arrangements for someone to receive the package if necessary.
Incomplete or inaccurate information may cause a delay in the processing or shipment of your order. For this reason, please provide both the shipper and recipient's daytime phone numbers should there be any questions regarding the order. Please be advised that we are not responsible for the replacement or refund of orders which have incomplete or invalid addresses or gifts sent to recipients who are not available to accept the package.
